This is not the first time that both titles have given a million-plus reward to their players. Powerbucks was launched in 2016. Since then, it has paid 52 jackpots, each worth at least $1 million. The debut of the slot title is specific to Canada. Wheel of Fortune has made a larger number of players millionaires, considering it was launched in 1996. Per official estimates, the slot has minted more than 1,100 millionaires. The total amount of reward comes to $3.5+ billion.

That is not the only factor that has sparked the interest of the gaming community in the world of IGT. It also extends its supply contract for the UK National Lottery Operations. The said contract has been extended, allowing the company to continue supplying the core lottery system to the UK National Lottery.

According to the gaming news, Jay Gendron, the Chief Operating Officer of Global Lottery at IGT, has said that they are pleased to continue supporting the operations along with Allwyn and other suppliers. IGT is also the primary technology provider for 25 lotteries in the USA.

IGT has simultaneously hinted at its presence at ICE London 2024. IGT has said that the event is fast approaching, adding that the team will be presenting the game-changing line-up at the event. Three games are expected to appear at the event, and names have been sought from the community, asking them to guess their titles. Some of the highlights at their booth are video poker, floor manager, electronic table games, video lottery, and mechanical reels, among others.

The company was most recently rewarded with the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion. IGT was awarded the title after scoring a hundred points on the annual assessment of workplace quality for the community. The designation is part of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023–2024 Corporate Equality Index, also known as CEI.

It includes 1,384 participants and emphasizes the need to promote a friendly workspace for all communities without any discrimination. Compliance Professional of the Year was another honor IGT received in 2023. The reward was given to Sara Condo at the 2023 Global Regulatory Awards, hosted by Vixio Gambling Compliance, to recognize and celebrate achievement across the industry.
